PhD scholarships in New Zealand cover Victoria University tuition fees for the year 2021




Victoria University is offering scholarships for PhD students. Scholarships are awarded to applicants with the highest GPA while studying at the university throughout the year. To be eligible for the scholarship, a student must possess a strong academic record and excellent academic references, or possess the ability to conduct high-quality research; Kindle has published research and articles in well-known journals in proportion to the experience and education obtained.


Criteria for applying for scholarships:


 Application for the scholarship is open to any student within or outside New Zealand intending to enroll in a PhD program or have already enrolled in a study program at Victoria University of Wellington.


Terms and conditions for submission:


  •  The Victoria University Foundation expects the award winning student to write a letter of thanks to the donor upon receipt of the award.
  • The completed application must be submitted online and any required supporting documents (including references) by 4:30 PM from the date of the application deadline, for the application to be considered.
  •  Late or incomplete applications will not be accepted.
  •  All scholarship offers will be conditional on the student's full enrollment in a one-year program (full-time will be at the point level that Studylink considers as full-time) within the criteria and duration stipulated for the scholarship.
  •  No scholarship will be awarded until this condition is fulfilled.
  •  The award of this scholarship cannot be deferred to any other year.
  •  This scholarship may coincide with other scholarships.
  • If the recipient withdraws from Victoria University during the term of this scholarship or fails to make satisfactory progress, they will be required to partially reimburse the scholarship.
  • Recipients must inform the scholarship office if they intend to withdraw.
  •  Recipients are expected to act as ambassadors for VU and to participate in events or appropriate marketing upon request.
  •  The application of the scholarship terms and conditions may be modified in special circumstances or to avoid hardship for any scholarship candidate.


Scholarship Worth:


 $ 23,500 USD is offered each year with tuition fee costs covered

  •  Evidence that the student has been accepted as a student at Victoria University.
  •  CV .
  • A copy of the applicant's passport (the page containing the photo).
